This year's orange shirt is presented in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) and SIIT student & designer, Jarrod Cappo, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

100% of the proceeds from this design will be donated to Saskatoon Survivors Circle, PA Indian and Métis Friendship Centre, and Regina Treaty/Status Indian Services.

Design Inspiration: “The thoughts I had while making my orange shirt design were ones of togetherness and harmony. While the experiences the children we lost are traumatic and sad, we can feel some relief that they are at peace. The triangle that the two children are standing in is pointing up, meaning they are with the creator. They are standing in a teepee, meaning they are home and they are safe and loved. They have spirit animals of horses and eagles guiding them and keeping them from getting lost on their journey. The feathers are there to represent that they are healing and pursuing a spiritual path.”​ - Jarrod Cappo
