Grain Elevator Designs

The Grain Elevator is a prairie legacy. These designs are for those who grew up with an elevator being the tallest structure around, with their hometown name proudly painted on its weathered slats. Just spotting one makes you feel at home.

A symbol of working hard and looking forward. Their purpose may be fading but they will always be a part of our history.

Beacons

Woven into the design is a poem that paints a picture of these familiar prairie landmarks:

“A beacon of abundance, the prairiedise grew;
now weakened sentinels raising the new.

The fields are our legacy, living skies were our home.
Harvest yields guarded; the patchwork was sewn.

Many have fallen, the rest are in wait.
Grain, seed, flower, pollen; love, history, fate.”

At Hardpressed, we take pride in our ever-evolving designs, each inspired by the province we proudly call home. To keep the creativity flowing and make space for fresh ideas in the print shop, some screens find their way to our archives. While a few products featured on this page may no longer be in stock, we’re a sentimental bunch – so there’s a chance you’ll see them again sometime!
