Overview

This addendum to our general Privacy Policy describes how Hardpressed Print Studio Inc. ("we", "us", "our") handles data accessed through our internal QuickBooks Online integration.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to our internal accounting integration that connects our company's QuickBooks Online account to internal tools for operational purposes. This integration is not available to external customers or third parties.

Data We Access

Our internal integration accesses QuickBooks Online accounting data including:

  • Chart of accounts and account balances
  • Transaction records (invoices, bills, payments)
  • Journal entries
  • Basic financial reports
  • Customer and vendor information as needed for reconciliation

How We Use QuickBooks Data

We use QuickBooks data solely for:

  • Internal bookkeeping and reconciliation
  • Operational reporting for management
  • Financial analysis and planning
  • Integration with internal spreadsheets and dashboards

Data Sharing

We do not:

  • Sell QuickBooks data to third parties
  • Use QuickBooks data for advertising
  • Share QuickBooks data with external parties except as required by law
  • Allow third-party access to our QuickBooks integration

Data Security

We protect QuickBooks data through:

  • Secure storage of OAuth tokens with encryption
  • HTTPS-only connections for all data transmission
  • Access restricted to authorized internal personnel only
  • Regular security reviews and updates

Data Retention

We retain QuickBooks-derived data only as long as needed for business purposes. Upon disconnecting the integration, we:

  • Revoke OAuth tokens immediately
  • Remove stored authentication credentials
  • Retain financial records only as required by Canadian tax law
