The High Noon Selvedge is a vintage-inspired denim, crafted with techniques and materials that harken back to the early 1900s. At 10oz, this lightweight Japanese selvedge denim combines rugged workwear heritage with modern versatility. Woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan—the epicenter of selvedge craftsmanship—it pays homage to denim’s roots while offering a unique, unsanforized construction for enthusiasts who value authenticity and evolution.

Shuttle looms, the workhorses of early denim production, are a far cry from the high-speed mass-production looms used today. These vintage machines, often dating back to the mid-20th century, are meticulously maintained and operated by skilled craftsmen in Okayama, Japan. Their slow, deliberate weaving process produces fabrics with a tighter weave, selvedge edges, and subtle irregularities that modern looms can’t replicate.
