The Japanese Terry is a 100% cotton extra beefy French terrycloth weighing in at 690 GSM (grams per square meter) with small cotton loops for softness. How can a Japanese terry be a French terry? French terry is a variety of terrycloth with one side flat and the other small terry loops, but this terry is knit in Japan, thus a Japanese French terry.
